Northern Lights, husky dogs and snowmobiles

Lapland feels like thousands of miles away. Like you'll need days to get there and at least a week once there to take it all in.

But that's just not true

Andre recently spent just three days inside the Northern Cicle and had a wonderful time.

There is so much to do, such as:

• Riding snowmobiles along frozen rivers
• Travel by reindeer sleigh through snow filled tundra
• Must your very own team of husky dogs.

You will never forget watching the fabled northern lights shimmering in the star studded Arctic sky. The experienced guides will lead you on a trek through the Arctic forests to a spectacular vantage point, where the setting for a possible encounter with nature’s most spectacular light show is second to none.

You can even fly locally from Bristol on selected dates throughout the winter to Enonntekio, Finland. From here's it's just a one hour transfer to Karesuanon through majestic forests and passing countless frozen lakes.

1. Wear plenty of thermal clothing layers as the temperatures are in the mid -20C
2. My favourite activity was the Husky Safari where you  can control a 5 dog sleigh
3. The snowmobile safari trip in the evening was amazing and we experienced the Northern Lights
