Having recently returned from a once in a lifetime trip including Venice, Budapest with an overnight journey on the Orient Express in between, I wanted to say what an incredible experience it was.
The Cipriani in Venice is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been lucky enough to stay in, well matched by the Aria in Budapest - an opulent hotel with a music theme in the centre of this wonderful city.
Last but certainly not leave, I'll never forget the incredible overnight on board the beautiful Venice Simplon Orient Express. Quite simply the most perfect way to travel between the two cities. A true bucket list experience.
